Solution Architects are IT professionals that gather information and analytics from the client to create a specific solution to the problem or pain point being addressed. This can include both software and hardware solutions. The Solution Architect will organize the development effort and is responsible for both creating a vision of the solution and the execution of the vision into the actual solution. Candidates should have computer proficiency, command strong communication and interpersonal skills and be a solid team player. Analytical thinking, problem solving and creativity are also highly sought after assets. Most employers look for candidates that have a degree in either information technology or computer science and some will also want a candidate that has a certification in enterprise solutions.
