Hired Referral Program Terms Of Service

Limited Time Invitation Offer

LIMITED TIME ONLY. Offer valid so long as offer remains publicly posted on the Hired Site or Service (collectively herein, the “Site”), in the event Hired removes the offer, the offer will expire immediately upon removal date (“Expiration Date”). Candidates understand and agree that Hired has the right to remove or revoke the offer at any time, and is under no obligation to continue to provide the offer for any period of time. To participate and become eligible for a referral bonus, you must abide by, and comply with, these terms and conditions when referring new users to the Site through the applicable referral offer.

In order for a bonus to be due to you for a referral, the candidate referred must: 1) be a new user of Hired 2) not previously referred or otherwise sourced by Hired through other means 3) first enter the Site through a referral link created on the Site offer page and provided by you, 4) become an approved Site user, (or “Candidate”) within thirty (30) days of signing up for the Site, and 5) be hired for a full time job through the Site within one hundred eighty (180) days of approval. Candidates are approved at the sole discretion of Hired. Upfront Referral Bonuses (defined below) are paid only for FULL-TIME placements. No Referral Bonuses will be provided for contractor or other part-time hires.

A referral bonus will be successfully triggered based on the method(s) described on the offer page. You will be notified within a reasonable time from referral bonus approval or hiring of the Candidate. Hired will use reasonable efforts to pay referral bonuses for full-time positions (“Upfront Referral Bonuses”) within thirty (30) days of a successful event; however payment make take longer. Only one (1) referral bonus will be paid per referred Candidate’s full-time placements regardless of the number of jobs for which such candidate receives referrals.

Referring users may not refer anyone who is an existing Site user, was referred or sourced by alternative means, or an existing user with an account under an alternate email address. All candidates referred must be new Site users. A new Site user means someone who never before started a Site account regardless of whether such person completed or submitted his or her profile. Referring users may not use spam or send unsolicited emails to persons they don’t personally know to collect referrals and may not collect referrals by posting on message boards or other online venues in violation of such venues’ terms of use.

You represent and warrant that you have full right, authority, and prior written permission from each candidate referred to provide Hired that individual’s personally identifiable information and contact information, and such rights in all applicable jurisdictions, and will defend, indemnify, and hold hired harmless from any breach of this representation or warranty.

Hired reserves the right to cancel any referral bonus if it determines, in its sole discretion, that a referring user has violated these terms, including through any fraudulent or misleading referral activity (for example, by referring fake people to users, using false names, using multiple identities, email accounts or email addresses, impersonating another person, or otherwise providing false or misleading information) or if Hired terminates the referring user’s account for any reason.

Referring users may also be liable for civil and/or criminal penalties under applicable law. Any other abuse of this offer, as determined by Hired in its sole discretion, may result in the rescission of the referral bonus, as well as a determination that one or both parties are ineligible to participate in this or future offers. Determination of referral bonus eligibility, as well as any exceptions, are at the sole discretion of Hired. Hired reserves the right to verify eligibility and adjust offers at any time prior to or following posting and/or award. If any provision of these Referral Program Terms Of Service is, for any reason, held to be invalid or unenforceable, its other provisions will be unimpaired and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified so that it is valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
