Product Designers create and improve products that are used worldwide. They're also known as industrial or commercial designers. These specialists can develop models for items like appliances, furniture, cell phones, medical equipment, toys, housewares and much more. Product Designers research the target customer and the purpose for making the item for an individual client or an organization. They come up with a concept, choose the materials, test their prototype and evaluate the practicality. These specialists use their knowledge of engineering, art and business to make an innovative, functional and safe product for consumers to use.
