Program Managers are similar to Project Managers, but focus on multiple projects simultaneously as well as the umbrella programs they fall under.

Program Managers work in different industries. They help define projects and determine the strategy. They also assist in implementation. They set the milestones, define budgetary guidelines, manage documentation and oversee communications between key stakeholders for each project's respective lifecycle. To best fulfill the role, they must be expert communicators, have a keen awareness of costs and timelines and be able to work with multiple teams routinely.
