Back-End Engineers write code and focus on server-side processes and applications to ensure system consistency. The work they do is combined with work from front-end engineers in order to create a dynamic and functional experience for web users. Back-End Engineers may also be called programmers or developers. They will be expected to work with a team, which may be comprised of Creative Consultants and Directors, Front-End Engineers and others.
Back-End Engineers are expected to study the trends of the industry. They need to have good project management skills, be able to communicate well and should be analytical and results-driven. Back-End Engineers must also possess an in-depth understanding of programming tools and languages. They should be able to solve complex problems, formulate efficient processes and help create an optimal end-user experience.
