They provide strategic guidance for project teams, ensuring that each project is completed to fit with the companies' short-term and long-term goals. Program Managers work in different industries, including manufacturing, commerce and marketing. Unlike project managers, they do not directly oversee projects. Most employers require that Program Managers have a degree in business administration or a related field, as well as several years of experience managing a team.
