Hardware Engineers provide analysis and specification for hardware design and development of products and systems. They develop testing methods and strategies to prove out their designs and perform the tests. Hardware Engineers conduct performance and stress testing on a variety of hardware including chassis', circuit boards, wiring and processors. Hardware Engineers often work closely with engineers of other disciplines to create complex systems. Entry to the profession normally requires a bachelor's degree in hardware or mechanical engineering and experience appropriate to the job.
