Business analysts are responsible for improving the competitiveness of a company or organization. They advise management on the different ways they can improve operational efficiency. They may also analyze financial data and employment reports to find redundancies or develop solutions that can help boost profits. In addition to an education in business, most Business analysts specialize in a particular area, such as information technology, inventorying management or corporate structure.
The education sector is made up of schools, colleges and academies that provide training in a range of areas. Business Analysts working in the education sector may be employed in the budget department of an institution where they ensure that appropriate accounting is maintained. They may also develop structured user manuals, define business rules and make recommendations that can help improve the workflow process.
