Salesforce Developers need to be able to create long-term operations while at the same time improving existing systems, including project development strategies that focus on all phases of product design. This position requires one to have exceptional administration skills for both internal and customer-related environmental issues, such as workflow, custom applications, user permissions, security settings and custom objects.
Typically, a four-year college degree in computer science is the bare minimum when it comes to education for this position. Many companies, however, will also require master level degrees as well as significant work experience in the Salesforce application. As this is a very people oriented position as well, Salesforce Developers should have strong documentation and communication skills, too.
