Gaming Engineers must be both creative and scientific. Employed by entertainment and technology companies, they use their technical expertise to design, program and develop both video and arcade games. To qualify as a Gaming Engineer, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field like software engineering, computer science, computer engineering or information technology is required. The Gaming Engineer should have a thorough understanding of how the process of game designing works.
