CSS Jobs

CSS Job Description

CSS or Cascading Style Sheets is a language that is used to change the presentation of a document that has been written in a markup language such as HTML. It is designed to create a separation between the presentation and the content of the page, which in turn provides more flexibility and control in the presentation characteristics. It also allows multiple web pages to share formatting, reducing complexity and repetition in the structure. CSS developers should be well versed in multiple other languages such as HTML and Javascript along with any other current web application development suites.

Employers usually ask that a candidate hold a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or several years of field experience. Common skills that are required include problem-solving skills, being detail oriented, having the ability to recommend technical solutions and having dedication and commitment to building high-end applications. Clear communication in both verbal and written form is essential. Because CSS is coupled with other functionality on the webpage, a candidate should be able to show experience or knowledge in other common web features such as FTP, Photoshop, Dreamweaver or NetSuite. They should be able to clearly and accurately predict timelines and be able to stay on schedule. Demonstrating knowledge of different browsers and platforms and even different devices is a plus for any candidate.

Sorry, we don't currently have any jobs meeting these requirements.
