Mobile Engineers build and develop software applications meant for mobile devices. They’re typically skilled in programming languages like Java or Javascript and specialize in one or more mobile platforms such as iOS and Android. Mobile Engineers also modify or troubleshoot existing applications with the goals of improving its features and performance. They also track redesign requests and maintain versioning notes. Mobile Engineers may work alone or as part of a team that includes software developers and UI designers.
