Most companies will require at least a four-year degree in computer science or a related field to hold the position. However, some companies may also want a graduate level degree as well. Being fluent in industry-standard languages such as Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and others is paramount. It should also be no surprise that Developer Operation Engineers need to have strong skills in both communication and documentation, and in many cases, being able to compile and analyze data is vital.
