Testing for performance and efficiency, along with running security audits to ensure against hacking is also part of their responsibilities.
DevOps Engineering is not an entry-level position. Along with a four-year education in engineering, computer science or information technology, a knowledge of programming languages and automation experience is a must. The DevOps Engineer should also enjoy writing codes, have a passion for research and be a solid team leader.
