As the name suggests, Project Managers are responsible for every aspect of a given project's lifecycle, from the pitching and planning stages to development, testing, implementation and roll out, as well as ongoing monitoring post-launch. In even simpler terms, if something has a start and a finish, a Project Manager is likely to be involved in the process. There are three basic types of Project Managers found in most industries: General Project Managers, IT Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.

Project Managers work with all key stakeholders, interacting with everyone from upper management to development teams. They continually report on all stages of development to upper management, advising on budgetary issues and concerns as well as preparing extensive reporting, including forecasting and sales revenues, whenever applicable. Qualified candidates should have Project Management Qualification (PMP), experience in risk management and strategic planning, agility with project management software, outstanding communication, critical thinking skills and contract negotiation expertise.
