Few roles cut across industries quite as much as that of the Project Manager. Nearly every industry has Project Managers to guide every endeavor, from product development to advertising and more. As the name suggests, Project Managers are responsible for every aspect of a given project's lifecycle, from the pitching and planning stages to development, testing, implementation and roll out, as well as ongoing monitoring post-launch. In even simpler terms, if something has a start and a finish, a Project Manager is likely to be involved in the process. There are three basic types of Project Managers found in most industries: General Project Managers, IT Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
