We are looking for a Workday Architect within the People Analytics and Strategy team based in San Francisco. This position will report into the People Analytics and Strategy Director and the ideal candidate would be seen as the Workday expert at Lyft. Our instance of Workday was only recently implemented at Lyft, so this position provides you the opportunity to design many systems processes and modules from the very beginning, applying best practices and leveraging your extensive Workday experience.

Responsibilities:

* Build business process configurations and enhancements in Workday to make things smoother for the end user experience, particularly in the job change process
* Design and build an approach to enabling manager self-service where possible
* Determine security roles and philosophy and configure security roles to provide strong compliance but manageable flexibility in maintenance, including API security roles
* Build advanced reporting, worklets, and dashboards to support available data and insights to managers
* Partner with systems administrators and product managers to continuously roll out enhancements, features, and capabilities for Workday

Experience & Skills:

* 3+ years of advanced Workday HCM configuration experience
* Deep knowledge of Workday HCM: the business processes, security frameworks, and advanced reporting
* Experience designing and implementing technology-enabled HR business solutions
* Experience defining HR business and systems strategy: developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
* Understand complexities and nuances with Workday reporting, especially involving different organizational hierarchies within Workday
* End to end implementation experience including requirements documentation, systems configuration, project management, issue management, communication and change management.
* Strong communication skills and ability to effectively work with highly technical and non-technical teams
