UI/UX Designer and Graphics Manager

Job Description

As the leading AP automation solution for the Real Estate industry, Nexus is a fast-paced, high growth company. We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer & graphics manager to be part of an aggressive and motivated marketing team that wears many hats, everything from building awareness for our AP automation services to optimizing the company's web-based software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, a great attitude, and a desire to work with content producers, product managers, software developers, and other designers. He/she should be able to build graphics and web pages rapidly and have a passion for taking complicated technology and making it visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

* Quickly turn around graphics for sales power points, marketing websites, email campaigns, and corporate presentations. Ability to accept feedback and change directions easily
* Collaborate with development teams to create visually appealing interfaces that are easy and pleasurable to use
* Skillfully manage a WordPress site and help convert visitors to leads
* Work with development teams to create UI design deliverables
* Use HTML/CSS, XML; and Javascript, build web-based portals
* Create email campaigns - on multiple platforms - and monitor the results
* Use tools and analytics to improve usability

Requirements:

* Position based in Falls Church, VA
* Must be able to show websites/web content designed and portfolio
* Have strong typography, layout and visual design skills
* Manage digital adoption platforms like Walkme or Pendo (or be able to learn them fast)
* Must have a can-do attitude and willing to take on different types of assignments
* Deadline oriented
* Must be able to build rapport and communicate with people from different departments
* Must be able understand and navigate complex technology and simplify ideas into visually appealing and simple graphics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
* Expertly use industry tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
* Optional although a big plus, Experience with Hubspot
* Big plus: Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO
* Must have authorization to work in the United States, and successfully pass a thorough background check
