This role requires the WMS Functional Analyst to be dedicated to field questions, and being able to directly answer or defer to the correct party to answer questions for WMS system users. The WMS Functional Analyst will act as a center for best practices, and will help ensure site level users do not stray from the overall company accepted standards.

The role may be tasked with generating system reports and developing standard exports from the system on an as needed or scheduled basis.The WMS Functional Analyst will need to understand the flow of inventory throughout a DC in WMS, and how it will be reconciled back to SAP, and how to resolve inventory related issue (could be material master data related).The WMS Functional Analyst will require an understanding of Distribution Center facility prep work, regarding things like storage location labeling to be done ahead of a WMS implementation. Knowledge of this process may become relevant post implementation as a DCs product mix grows and new items are introduced to the warehouse.The WMS Functional Analyst should understand Manhattan's slotting capabilities to assist each site in optimizing their storage locations over time.

This position will team with DC Operations, as well as IT resources to implement Manhattan's SCALE WMS system using the best practices identified by the software vendor where applicable for our industry. Once implemented, the analyst will be dedicated to end user questions, being able to directly answer or defer to the correct party any questions WMS system users may have. The analyst will act as a center for best practices to ensure site level users do not stray from overall company accepted standards. The WMS Functional Analyst will continue to support the end users regarding WMS related applications to enhance the company's business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

* Learn base WMS functionality during training at Manhattan Associates.
* Lead system configuration and conversion plan.
* Develop system test scripts to be used during the Integration and Volume test activities.
* Lead unit, system and volume testing.
* Assist in facility preparation and identify potential operational changes associated with WMS installation.
* Test programs delivered by MA and recommend promotion to Production.
* Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for all implementation related issues.
* Provide first-level internal support.
* Monitor system diagnostics: transitional inventory, wave closure, etc.
* Administer end-user training according to training plan.
* Able to understand Boolean logic for determining rule criteria.
* Understanding of operational requirements and how to translate to the correct configuration (after having gone through training

Qualifications

Education:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Sciences or related field preferred or a combination of work experience and education in a related area.

Experience and Computer Skills:

* Minimum 2-4 years of Implementation & Configuration experience in WMS Solutions, specifically Manhattan WMS Application.


* Minimum 2-4 years of Experience in Manhattan WMS Integration with SAP for areas such as : Inventory Management ( Receiving, Shipping, Cycle Counting)
* Accounting (Inventory Valuation & Reconciliation) and Data Warehousing Integration.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Manhattan WMS Administration (Security, Performance Monitoring, Jobs, Data Base and Integration with SAP).


* Must have 2 years of experience implementing Manhattan WMS solutions for Distribution Centers.


* Solid Understanding of Networking and Mobile Technology (Scan guns, Wireless Infrastructure).


* Knowledge of SAP-WMS related components (MM-Material Management and FI-Finance).


* Must possess a basic understanding about System Security policies in areas such as: Manhattan WMS access profiles, Networking, Cloud, Single Sign-on and scan guns.


* Process design skills and experience with Reporting Tools and SQL is a plus.

Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products.
