Description:

Systems Administrator will be responsible for the building and configuration of Windows servers. They will also be required to maintain Windows and Antivirus patching monthly for multiple air gapped networks. In this position the candidate will also be required to administer Active Directory, Group Policies and perform data backups. Install\Maintain engineering applications.

Job Duties:

* Enterprise security\systems administration responsibilities covering multiple sites in Clifton New Jersey, Amityville NY and national sites for the EIT Organization
* Installation and support of Enterprise Applications
* Extensive knowledge in administering and implementing Risk Management Framework
* Experience administering and hardening Linux and Windows operating systems
* Configuration and administration of software patching and vulnerability remediation processes
* Building and configuring of Windows servers
* Active Directory configuration and maintenance of Group Policies
* Creating white papers for technical proposals to satisfy security and compliance from an IT perspective to integrate end product and IT systems
* Designing and implementing of IT solutions in support of program or pursuit requirements
* Providing after hours and weekend On-Call Engineering support as needed
* Conduct periodic scans of networks to find any compliance and vulnerabilities
* Create and maintain a test network to showcase new technologies and upgrades of software for production testing
* Responsible for maintaining operating system images for automated deployment
* Perform requirements analysis, design, and integration for complex software applications and collaboration infrastructures
* Some lifting/bending required, up to 30 pounds

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Imformation Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Systems or related discipline
* 4 years' experience in System Administration
* 2years experince in Windows/VMware
* Current DoD 8570 certification (IAT Level II, IAM level II or IASAE Level II)
* Able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows servers
* Advanced proficiency with RAID, iSCSI, TCP/IP, and Volume Management
* Intermediate proficiency with VMware and Cisco switches
* Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
* Ability to prepare and present technical documents and presentations to employees and customers
* Customer focus and understand customer's sense of urgency
* Experience in engineering secure VMware technology including the following: vSphere, vRealize, vSAN, VDI, NSX, and other VMware suite products a plus
