Position Summary:

We are looking for an individual possessing the skills, flexibility, and dedication needed for high-level administration and support of our server and data center infrastructure.

As a member of Infrastructure Team, the Infrastructure Systems Engineer is responsible for design, analysis, implementation, and maintenance of Windows server and storage infrastructure. This role involves requirements gathering, architecting technical solutions, project management, and documenting design and standards.

Responsibilities:

* Windows server administration, Active Directory and related technologies such as GPO, DFS, WSUS, DNS, PowerShell, VBscript, etc.
* Server, Operating System and storage hardware setup, documentation and support.
* VMWare hypervisor support.
* Management of operating system patches and change requests.
* Automation & development skills (i.e. can write scripts, use automation tools to deploy servers, configurations, and patches)
* Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design, planning and implementation.
* The position carries an expectation of schedule flexibility and availability, including travel to other sites and participation in an afterhours on-call support rotation.

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or 3 years of working experience with computer system configurations and networks is preferred.
* Proficient with Windows Server (2003/2008/2012/2016R2) and Active Directory.
* The ability to build and support VMware ESXi servers and associated storage.
* Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and/or VBscript.
* Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design, planning and implementation for Windows platforms.
* Have a clear understanding of information security concepts and best practices.
* A basic understanding of network and telecommunication technologies.
* Linux, MSSQL and MySQL experience is a plus.
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
