Job Description

Title: Windows Automation Security Engineer - SME

Location:Washington, DC, Reston, VA, Alexandria, VA

Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Responsibilities:

* Perform in a DevOps and Security Engineering role responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of hybrid on-premises and cloud services in support of the IC
* Apply knowledge of the latest trends in the DevOps industry to support the analytical service contract in the deployment of web services and solutions enabling the automation of data discovery and support higher orders of analysis to implement DevOps practices
* Provide DevOpSec and Security Engineering input to programs throughout the lifecycle to ensure systems meet ICD-503 standards
* Support Security Engineering efforts while conducting systems deployment, configuration management and application installations within the AWS/Azure commercial, Secret and TS/SCI regions traditional cloud services such as VPC, ELB, EC2, S3 and more modern cloud services such as Lamda, SageMaker, API Gatewa (AWS) and Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts (Azure)
* Work closely with Solutions Architects to conduct Proof of Concepts and assist in production implementations
* Execute periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system and external web integrity scans to determine compliance
* Experience creating cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Cloud-Formation, Saltstack
* Candidate must also have significant technical background, experience and familiarity with Windows servers: design, configure, and administer Windows 2012/2016/2019
* Participates in special projects as required

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred with 10 years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree
* Extensive hands-on experience with cloud architecture, services, migration and security to include AWS-C2S and Azure
* Experience designing and writing test automation scripts; utilizing test automation frameworks
* Ability to design and build automation solutions for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery process
* Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as robot framework, selenium, appium
* Develop new or extend existing build and test automation tools and frameworks as needed to provide complete continuous integration environment
* Strong knowledge of supporting MS tools
* Microsoft Red Forest Design experience highly desired
* Also possess strong knowledge of Active Directory and GPO management experience.
* Experience with DevOpSec in complex hybrid on-premises and cloud-based environments covering both commercial and air-gaped environments
* SAP (Special Access Programs) security management preferred
* High-level understanding of multi-security domain operations
* Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT III certification
* AWS and/or Azure certification(s) preferred
* Current active TS/SCI clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain one a CI polygraph
