WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Braze is looking for a skilled front-end developer to collaborate with our current in-house website developer to help grow our marketing team. This person will play an integral role in developing and executing on marketing tactics to drive revenue -- from website development to innovative content and campaign executions. This role will focus on building interactive visualizations and is expected to be comfortable developing high-performing and mobile responsive experiences.

The candidate will execute on direct outputs from the marketing strategy by developing and maintaining bold, market-leading custom executions, and implementing strategic iterations to Braze.com, in an effort to create better pipeline-driving experiences for our prospects and customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Maintain, expand, and scale our site. Create unique interactive experiences that push the boundaries and resonate with a variety of audiences, from prospects and clients to influencers and other digital marketers.

Collaborate with lifecycle marketing, regional marketing, marketing operations, design and content to create seamless personalized user experiences on the website. Create award-winning, attention-grabbing experiences by helping to identify emerging trends, and working to implement them as appropriate across our marketing properties.

Create website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices.

Test & optimize our site to increase stickiness and increase conversions.

Working with the insights & communications, brand marketing, and product marketing team to create innovative digital experiences.

Own Prismic CMS to create scalable templates to leverage in our marketing programs.

Own the technical implementation and optimization for our SEO strategy.

WHO YOU ARE

* 4+ years of experience
* Strong Javascript, HTML5, and CSS
* Comfortable with JavaScript libraries (React, jQuery), JavaScript module loaders (RequireJS), templating languages, Github
* Working knowledge of Node, unit testing, a/b testing - we use Optimizely
* Familiarity in building high performance responsive websites
* Prior experience working with professional design teams
* A data-driven ethos and prior experience with event tracking and analytics tools
* Prior experience in startups, agencies or other entrepreneurial environments
