Summary:

The Web Designer will work closely with project leads to ensure the final product adheres to the predetermined budget, scope, and design. As the Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing web, print, and video projects, from layout to function and according to a customer's specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Create webpage layouts (original design, layout and coding), user interface (UI/UX), website styling (CSS, color palette, style guides), and page features (video integration, animations and pictures)
* Code and deploy websites to run on cross-platform, cross-browser and mobile environments
* Build web application products using HTML/CSS/JS/Bootstrap and other front-end technologies
* Have an in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, CVENT, and Sitefinity and WordPress CMS
* Troubleshoot issues quickly and stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies, standards, and trends
* Perform continued testing, maintenance, and updates throughout the lifecycle of the website.
* An entrepreneurial spirit to help grow offerings to our clients
* The ability to work on all areas listed above as a solo and team member
* Actively seek new programming knowledge
* Follow and implement industry accepted best practices and tools
* Create html emails for mass emailing, graphics for social media posting as well as graphics for conference event app.
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

* Bachelor's preferred.
* 4 years of relevant experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Knowledge in the following: HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser development and compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (RESTful Services and APIs), Multimedia Content Development
* Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.
* Up to 10% travel required
* Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays if necessary
* Ability to work independently and as a team member
* Ability to work shift work.
* Ability to handle large, complex workload, effectively coordinate multiple resources, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques.
* Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy.
* Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
* Excellent PC skills. Highly proficient in MS Office Suite.

* The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
* During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
