Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and energetic individual who will be responsible for creating, improving and promoting digital content that help people address life challenges. Web Content Specialists wear many hats on the Online Products team. One day, they may help develop an approach for delivering content across our global websites. The next day, they may be creating style guides and editorial calendars. On another day, they may be editing articles and fulfilling custom content requests to serve our customers better.

Primary Responsibilities

* Work with technical leadership, stakeholders, and team members to develop online products according to business needs and project schedules
* Work with Director of Online Products and internal stakeholders to develop an approach for delivering our content to meet prospect and customer needs
* Determine approach and develop timelines for large content projects
* Complete assigned tasks per project schedules


* Work with others to localize our content to extend our reach and help people globally
* Get vendor quotes, develop budgets, and review with the Director of Online Products
* Coordinate translation and localization of content with vendors
* Publish localized content using our content management system


* Perform day-to-day content maintenance activities
* Contribute ideas for our content and create content according to our style guidelines
* Copyedit, proofread and fact check content created by internal subject matter experts and other web content team members
* Upload images and files to website upon request
* Configure homepage customizations upon customer request
* Improve our content quality by reviewing usage and user feedback
* Promote our content to users via e-mail newsletters



Job Qualifications

* Bachelor of Arts (BA) in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
* 1 -3 years of professional experience
* Experience using content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or others
* Experience using email marketing platforms such as Emma, Constant Contact, Pardot or others
* Experience with project tracking tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Asana, Trello or others
* Comfort developing budgets and timelines, as well as getting and reviewing vendor quotes
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
* Understanding and/or experience of creating digital journeys and applying web technologies preferred
* Strong people and organizational skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
* Stable work history required
