Job Description

The position works on System Requirement and High Level Design documents, generating detailed specifications, use cases, and simulations for changes and/or additions to a large B2B ordering system used by salespeople and CSRs.

The position won't actually touch code, but needs to understand the functional aspects of front end and back end development, such as API calls, UI design best practices, wire framing, and creating use cases so they can properly define requirements that describe how the system will interact with other systems on the back end and interact with users on the front end.

Job Responsibilities (specific duties):

* UI design
* Wire framing
* Intermediate command of some programming language
* Intermediate command of HTML, particularly HTML forms
* Strong writing skills, particularly technical writing and documentation
* Good time manager, able to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
* Graphics skills (Photoshop or equivalent) for creating page mock-ups

Soft Skills:

* Speaks more than one language (will help in learning an extensive new vocabulary)
* Visio
* iRise (requirements visualization software)
