Web Application Developer -Technology

While analytics isn't new, we're experiencing a renaissance in the science, technology, and application of business analytics. Many business leaders need to know how best to quickly understand what their analytics can actually deliver. Our InsightStudio team works with clients to discover new insights by transforming data into intuitive, interactive visualizations-such as maps, charts, and dashboards-that can help leaders see and explore their data in new ways. As a custom Web Application Developer, you will specialize in building powerful yet elegant products using cutting edge technologies.

Work you'll do

We are looking for people who relish the opportunity to push the boundaries of their technical knowledge and enjoys working in a cross-functional environment. As a Developer, you'll have the opportunity to design and build innovative applications that offer measurable business value to our clients. You will evaluate client business challenges and work with a team of designers, data scientists, and business domain specialists to produce technology solutions and develop world class web applications that leverage the full spectrum of front and back-end technologies and cutting-edge design patterns. In addition to web development capabilities, the ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment working with clients and business analysts to translate business needs into technical requirements, and assist with estimating the time and resources required for each phase of a project. This person should have hands-on project and/or internship experience with latest web development technologies, is a fast learner & strong interest in learning new technologies, and expert problem solving skills and creative thinking ability.

The InsightStudio can help grow a client's analytics maturity whether they are just starting to explore the possibilities of analytics efforts, beginning to develop customizable solutions for certain divisions, or scaling capabilities enterprise-wide. Our product offerings fit together, and complement one another, to provide clients a pathway towards becoming an Insight Driven Organization. Qualifications

Required

* A Bachelor's degree/candidate in one of the following disciplines: computer science, computer engineering, information management or a related field
* Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher)
* Familiarity with the agile methodologies & software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Experience developing web applications with SOA, RESTful APIs, and/or MVC architectures
* Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript (Node.js) / Python)
* Development experience with a high level language (Java or C#)
* Hands-on experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
* Hands-on experience in SQL or NoSQL database environments
* Ability to travel up 50%
