Web Analytics Specialist

Job Description

The Web Analytics Specialist is primarily responsible for enabling the analytics for Nexon's global game platform. Working closely with platform engineers, you will help to implement measurement strategies, ensure proper data collection and integrity. You will also to support regular maintenance of the tracking and continually monitor it for any data collection issues.

Additionally, the Web Analytics Specialist will help analyze that data in order to help find ways of improving the user experience across the Nexon platform team's web properties and within the Nexon launcher.

The most important quality in a candidate is a strong capacity to learn and adapt in a dynamic workplace. Finally, in your cover letter please include the name of a JavaScript function used to query the DOM.

What You Can Expect To Do In Your New Gig:

* Managing Web Based Tracking
* Implement new tracking using Google Tag Manager's built in tools
* Manage the configuration of multiple Google Analytics accounts
* Maintain the current tracking and continually monitor it for accuracy


* Analyze Web Data
* The data is primarily from Google Analytics with other sources such as server logs
* Assist in the creation of post project reports
* Sift through data to find where improvements could be made



Skills & Requirements

Your qualifications include:

* A quick and adaptable learner
* A very high attention to detail
* 3-5+ years overall experience in analytics
* Some experience with a web analytics platform (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar)
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Basic knowledge of programming concepts (variables, scope, if statements, for loops etc)
* Effective communicator in multiple mediums (email, instant messaging, in person etc)

We also like to see:

* Experience performing A/B testing.
* Experience using tag management systems (GTM, Launch etc)
* Knowledge of statistical analysis
* Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
