Job Overview As a VLSI Safety Manager Architect, you will be responsible for the definition and implementation of Qualcomm's industry-leading Automotive SoCs. Responsibilities: Develop architectural specifications for next-generation automotive sub-system. Work with cross functional teams (remove: cross-functionally in defining and implementing) to define and implement the safety manager functions in hardware. Work with Design Verification team on unit-level and top-level functional verification, and assist with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation activities. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications Master or higher degree, Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering is preferred Proven SoC architecture experience Experience in VLSI design and verification, MBIST/LBIST Experience in CPU architecture Experience with OS principles and HW/SW interaction Experience with SoC bus, interconnect and memory technologies Prior automotive experience in ADAS and self-driving systems will be an advantage. Prior experience with the ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 standard including hands-on experience with Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Modes Effect and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA).
