Job Description

LabCorp is seeking a EDI Specialist for it's Herndon, VA location. This position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of Atlantic Division EDI interface projects. The Atlantic Division is primarily responsible for planning, implementing and supporting customer EDI interfaces. They ensure that EDI solutions are setup properly and perform according to LabCorp standards. They research, analyze and recommend solutions for interface issues on an on-going basis.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Identifies problems, determines and provides/implements appropriate corrective action/accurate solutions in a timely manner.

Develops business relationships with potential clients, and ensures each has a complete and accurate (based on company's capabilities/limitations) understanding of our products and services and our desire to work with them.

Develops and maintains project plans that completely and accurately define objectives, scope, deliverables, resources, timeframes, etc. and are clearly understood by management and/or users.

Independently test EDI transactions with new and existing trading partners

Move setups into production mode once testing is completed

Ability to Multitask while working numerous projects.

Ability to prioritize duties to align with company initiatives.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: Normally B.S. Degree or equivalent knowledge required w/1-3 years of experience.
