Vice President, Trade Directory Mastercard Track

Overview:

* The non-card, business-to-business ('B2B') payments space represents a significant new opportunity for Mastercard to facilitate payments made between businesses globally. Mastercard is developing Track to pursue this market opportunity.
* Track will provide know your customer/know your supplier services and a data-rich accounts payable platform directed at mid / large corporates that will revolutionize how buyers and suppliers interact to make the process more transparent and efficient.
* The Mastercard Track Product Management team leads the launch and delivery of this new platform. As a member of this team, you will have the chance to shape and influence a new-to-world product using your customer insights and product development capabilities.

Role.

Responsible for systems analysis required to support the on-going development and management of of a new all-cloud IT Systems for Business Information & Payments (similar to Bureau Van Dyke, Dunn & Bradstreet, Thompson Reuters database products)

Work collaboratively with agile software development teams to analyze system requirements and deliver high quality features that meet customer expectations.

Lead complex initiatives and projects. Liaise between the business and IT, eliciting and translating customer needs into system-specific objectives, identifying possible system enhancements or new systems to be created, and defining project requirements.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, 3rd party resources, and technical partners to identify and scope opportunities, outline potential value, identify risks, benefits and constraints.

Lead estimating efforts to fulfill business needs.

Meet with business leaders and business analysts to discuss and elicit under-the-surface needs and translate them into specific system requirements and subsequent project objectives.

Work closely with developers, testers, and business teams to identify user, data and system needs in the design of new or enhanced application functionality.

Create prototype designs for components of applications or projects, writes documentation (such as test plans and scripts), and development of operation/support documentation.

Create test scenarios, execution of testing, and quality assessment of test cases/results of junior employees/contractors.

Collaborate in a geographically distributed environment across a large organization using multiple agile teams.

Assist with Operation with analysis of Production support tickets.

Apply technical capabilities within own discipline to coach and develop junior employees.

Provide input into performance appraisal process for some junior employees or team members, as requested.

All About You

Position requires a Master's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, IT, or related and experience in the job offered, as a Software Developer, Business Analyst, IT Consultant, or /related.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, and significant progressively responsible experience.

Qualifying experience must include each of the following: Global payments industry, ACH or card processing industry experience; SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall or SAFE; Utilizing business or Functional Analysis Skills, Documentation and Specification Skills, Visual Modeling Skills, Facilitation and Elicitation Skills; Application Lifecycle Management (ALM a.k.a Rally) initiative & feature definitions, elaborations with technical teams; UAT test case/acceptance criteria definitions, story validations; Data Analytics (using SQL Queries); Microsoft office (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio); Creating and executing scripts and creating tables with Microsoft Access. Prior experience must include each of the following: Designing and translating design into requirements for Cloud application; Collaborating with different team members and teams to ideate appropriate design solutions; MS Azure and/or familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and AWS. Experience with companies such as BVD, Dunn & Bradstreet, Lexis Nexis, Thompson Reuters related compliance / credit products is a major plus
