Vendor Assessment Inquiries Specialist

Location: Cambridge, MA

Meet Our Team:

As a member of Pega's Vendor Assessment Inquiries (VAI) team, you will respond to our customers' inquiries regarding security, software development, data privacy, and other topics.

Pega's products span a wide variety of industries and customers. You'll work cross-functionally with the Sales team as well as SMEs from IT, Cloud and other business units to ensure information requests from prospects are fulfilled in a timely manner and maintain a knowledge base of frequently-asked-questions. Where appropriate, you will also work with the business to create documentation to support VAI efforts including (but not limited to) overviews, policies, process diagrams and coordinate/track Pega remediation efforts.

What You'll Do at Pega:

* Respond to inquiries from customers and prospects regarding Pegasystems' security, business practices, controls, product functionality, and service offerings
* Communicate with various teams to gather required information for responses
* Complete detailed vendor assessment questionnaires regarding IT security, data privacy, disaster recover, facilities controls, HR hiring procedures, etc.
* Coordinate on-site customer audits
* Draft and/or support documentation efforts related to Vendor Assessment Inquiries

Who You Are:

You are a highly motivated, quick learner with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of IT Infrastructure, security, and application development. You are highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced, continuous learning environment.

* 2-5 years of technical writing, documentation and/or experience in IT
* Knowledge of IT principals and terminology
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Familiarity with SDLC processes

What You've Accomplished

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, compliance or a related field
* Experience working in IT or a technical environment
* Experience in vendor risk management, IT compliance, IT security, or IT infrastructure preferred
