JOB DESCRIPTION: The Agency is interested in IT Modernization efforts and Re-skilling and Workforce Transformation. Re-skill and up-skill employees impacted by IT modernization efforts, evolve workforce to more 21st Century skill sets and work practices, and enable the workforce to drive successful IT Modernization efforts going forward utilizing in-house talent.

The UX/Graphics Designer will lead and manage the creation of intuitive user-experiences and design simple and effective solutions to complex workflows. Develops wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas. Possesses in-depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards, and contemporary, user-centered design methodologies. Develops, assesses and communicates website usage and security policies and procedures. Designs web page layout, graphics, color schemes and infrastructure to maintain a cohesive website based on the organization's communications strategies and goals. Researches and evaluates new related technologies. Consults with clients and developers to ensure that development products are in line with user requirements. Executes interaction design and visual design as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Serves as the user advocate during the development process, manage early-stage designs through usability testing and offer implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective. Responsible for performing complex program assignments in analyzing, defining, coding in the design, and implementing cost effective information technology solutions.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight (8) years of experience designing user interfaces , including leadership skills. Includes comprehensive knowledge of this field and the ability to complete highly complex assignments.


* Performed work using waterfall, iterative, or agile scrum approach.


* Experience validating requirements using some of the following technologies: Balsamiq, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, HTML mockups.



Clearance Requirement:

* Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust.
