Job Description

UTEC's mission is to ignite and nurture the ambition of our most disconnected young people to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success. Public agencies, private foundations, corporate partners, and individual donors all invest in young people's social and economic success through UTEC. As UTEC grows as an organization so does the need to increase the capacity to produce detailed and automated reporting. Today this work is done manually and can pose challenges to data quality and integrity. The VISTA member will be in responsible for design and implementation of the new grant reporting system. The VISTA will also be responsible for documenting the new systems, and developing and delivering training to the Finance team. The VISTA will also play a similar role in set-up and implementation of UTEC's new online human resource system. This new system development will build tools and shared processes for agency-wide on-boarding, performance reviews, and employee benefits management. As with the grant reporting project, the VISTA will assist the Finance staff with design, development, and testing of the system, and subsequent training.
