USER INTERFACE DESIGNER

We are looking for a User Interface Designer (UI Designer) to join our rapidly-growing User Experience Design Team. Reporting directly to the Director of UI Design, the User Interface Designer will develop and execute design direction and creative strategy for product design work.

Responsibilities:

* Designing visual design assets, including design comps for Sema4 products
* Creating design collateral that is consistent with Sema4s brand guidelines, and providing design input as the brand evolves
* Communicating with multiple departments to gather information and collaborate on products
* Collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, stakeholders and your UED team members (including Interaction Designers and Copywriters), to manage workflow and create high-quality assets.
* Working efficiently and independently to stay on track with timelines

Qualifications:

We cant wait to meet you if you

* Have 3+ years of experience as a visual designer (UI), working on interactive products as such as web and mobile
* Are proficient with Sketch, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will balance multiple projects
* Are thoughtful and insightful. When facing a new project or challenge, you take the time to find a smart solution, rather than rushing to a quick fix
* Are an enthusiastic collaborator and open to feedback
* Are self-driven and confident, yet are never afraid to ask for help or seek a second opinion
* Able to manage multiple projects while sticking to deadlines
* Employ sharp attention to detail
* Work well in a team environment with other designers
