We are currently seeking a User Interface (UI) Designer for proposal effort supporting USDA Food and Nutrition Service. This is a remote position. In this role, the UI Designer would work closely with the software development team on a Drupal 8 application. The idea candidate will have experience working in agile teams to produce websites that adhere to government regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

* Collaborate closely with the development team and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions
* Create improve and user wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate integration ideas
* Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design
* Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
* 3+ years working with UI/UX design and development
* Experience with HTML5/XHTML, CSS/CSS3 and the user of various JavaScript frameworks in interface design.
* Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, and Illustrator
* Experience working in Agile Scrum development process
* NACI Clearance preferred
* US Citizenship required
