U. S. Bank is seeking a Business Technology Analyst 6 - UAT Manager to join a high performing team. This position is responsible for managing a team of business line Test Leads accountable for leading highly complex testing efforts to ensure the testing inputs/outputs/outcomes are fulfilled successfully with efficient and effective best practices. The position is also responsible for developing consistency and governance related to the following:
* Participation in strategic product and service requests with heavy emphasis on business requirement analysis and project planning for the related user acceptance testing * Analysis of stakeholder business needs to identify appropriate test scenarios designed to validate end user testing and uncover issues prior to implementation * Providing oversight regarding the development of step by step test cases and related data setup * Coordination and execution of business acceptance testing execution * Methodology for building and executing test plans, documenting accurate and detailed results * Coordination with business partners to understand scope and test timelines for new products and functionality * Utilization of testing processes and tools for effectively managing the testing lifecycle
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop robust testing procedures against business requirement documents to ensure all functions of a new/enhanced product is being examined * Manage the execution of various tests on new processes/products to ensure that functionality satisfy all requirements * Record all defect details and create and distribute reports outlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve these issues * Work with technology partners to build out automated testing tools and processes * Work closely with business lines to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues before the new functionality is implemented * Perform triage, troubleshooting and analysis of issues and failures reported by team members to determine if the issue is a defect, enhancement, or user-error
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience * 10 or more years of experience in project management, and computer technology applications and analysis
Preferred Skills/Experience
* Extensive business and technical experience related to defining test strategy, test planning, test deployment and providing quality assurance for large complex projects within Financial Services organizations * Experience teaming with various business lines to facilitate User Acceptance Testing * Experience with providing coaching to team members with a goal to share and increase team members effectiveness and testing knowledge * Developing/ Enhancing testing tools and practices to support teams testing capability * Excellent collaboration and team building skills * Competency/experience with: * Testing Frameworks * Testing Automation * Testing Data Development * Agile Testing Management * User Acceptance Testing Coordination * Organizational Change Management * Testing Program Management
