Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

You will work with a diverse set of technically proficient program managers, engineers, and leadership across the large, diverse organization that is Corporate Engineering as well as other Product Areas that span Alphabet. You will partner with engineering, product, and legal to identify and address Operational and Security related enhancements for our Corporate Application Ecosystem with an eye toward applicability to our Production environment and Enterprise-scale solutions for Google Cloud.

As a Technical Program Manager, you are able to identify potential issues, dissect the technology, processes, etc., at the core of the problem, and identify solutions that span the technology, process, policy, etc.,. Members are also active participants in defining those solutions, performing data and code analyses to help identify the paths of least resistance and guide conversations and solutions in a constructive, efficient manner.
