At Google, things move at a fast pace, so when things get in the way of progress, the Program Management Automation team steps in to remove those roadblocks. The team identifies time-consuming manual data interchange and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications and design. You develop solutions and consult with our Product managers to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

With your technical expertise, you build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

As a Lead Application Engineer, you are passionate about clean code and the work you do. Our team is growing, and you will play a major role in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Program Management solutions for Google. You will be tasked with solving challenging business problems that Google faces on a daily basis, by being part of a team enhancing the capabilities of a vendor sourced enterprise software with a custom-built integration platform to allow automation with our internal systems.
