Job Description

As a Database Engineering Manager, you'll work to enable the people and technology that keep Google running. Our team drives the technical projects, process improvements and automation that bring the Google magic to IT.

The Corporate Engineering team is the IT function at Google. We engineer and operate the internal systems that keep Google running. You're an experienced engineering leader who can drive and envision the engineering solutions responsible for running our financial and inventory management systems. You'll be responsible for the technical architecture as well as the system and database engineering solutions that deliver high availability and performance, and ensure that we over-deliver on capacity and scaling requirements. A primary goal for the team is to eliminate unnecessary reactive and repetitive work for the operations teams.
