The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google's global network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure. As a Principal Engineer, you'll define and drive the development of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capacity engine. You will be responsible for defining the vision and software roadmap for software capabilities ranging from supply and demand forecasting, matching, resource ordering, and automated fulfillment to ensure that cloud customers get the capacity they need.

You will have visibility into the broader Cloud Engineering and Sales communities as we need to understand how to plan for capacity for the individual components of GCP. In addition to standard software engineering technology, this role will involve some of the newest technologies that Google offers, including Machine Learning, Google Cloud, and future products that will help aid Google and it's customers.
