Major Purpose

Unix Operation Support Manager This position provides system support for all UNIX/Linux/Storage/Automation based systems. The manager focuses on implementing, monitoring and maintaining systems as well as collaborating on support of application software running under UNIX/Linux/Storage. The position also works with software vendors, hardware vendors, and third party out-sourced providers or contract services to provide optimum system performance and availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

UNIX/Linux/Storage Operating System hardware/software to provide optimum performance and system availability.

Manages, engineers and develops automation workstreams along with innovation for reducing human touch

Evaluates, diagnoses, and establishes work plans to resolve system, software, and network issues with all employees and third party-services Requirements Minimum Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process
* Minimum twelve (12) years IT experience, ideally within a global organization
* Minimum ten (10) years Linux deployment, configuration, and support experience
* Minimum five (5) years storage support, deployment, and configuration experience

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues
* Improve upon efficient use of existing logical and physical assets
* Develop KPI measuring effectiveness as a support organization
* Optimize area of responsibility service design, delivery, and support in partnership with other IT and

business leaders

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree with 9+ years of experience please see below:

10+ Years - Unix/Linux

12+ Years - Total IT Experience

5+ Years - Storage Experience

5+ Years - IT Service Management/KPI Experience

This position will have Budget and Direct reports.

Travel:

Less than 20 percent.
