Under general supervision, fulfills operational support of the Centura Health enterprise data network infrastructure environment. Duties include the installation, configuration, management and problem resolution of various data network wired/wireless/ network infrastructure hardware and software components that comprise the enterprise network environment. It is the responsibility of a Centura Enterprise Data Network Engineer to maintain a strict configuration standard in support of the enterprise data network environment. The network includes various models of Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, wireless access points and firewalls, as well as network load balancers. Additional responsibilities included structured cable plants and various monitoring and management platforms, Maintaining Doman Name Services (DNA) for Centura's enterprise network. The qualified individual demonstrates and achieves the hardware and wide area network circuits. Documentation includes all hardware configurations, standardizing all network infrastructure components and configurations. The qualified individual keeps and illustrates meticulous up-to-date documentation of software configurations of all network infrastructure systems. The qualified individual demonstrates and supports all Centural Health defined IT communications standards and applies them to all projects. This position will haveresponsibility for coordinating and leading all assigned IT infrastructure installations of new and existing facilities, managing all levels of connnectivity of communications and applications within the Centura Enterprise. This position will assume a shared responsibility of managing and troubleshooting technical issues of all telecommunicationp providers circuits to insure all SLA's and OLA's are met as outlined by contract. This individual will demonstrate an ability to monitor and master performance tools for the efficiency and reliability of enterprise network, providing information and on-demand reports validating the utilization, speed, and reliability of the enterprise network infrastructure. This position will demonstrate a skillful comfort level any vendor partnerships, and vendor service groups to ensure proper escalationduring outages or periods of degraded system performance. Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of Internet Protocal (IP) required. Required to rotate on-call in a 24x7 support environment.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

* 5 years progressive responsibility supporting Cisco data network communications preferably in a large enterprise network environment is required. Cisco voice and/or video communicaitons support is a plus.
* Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred. Organized, self-starter. Must be able to work independently.
* Understand and apply Cisco data network design principles and concepts.
* Continually demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills in a large enterprise network environment.
* Data Network Communications (technical) and/or completion of formal courses in Telecommunications,Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
* Bachelor preferred
* CCNA strongly preferred
* CCNP preferred
* BICSI/RCDD preferred.

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
