The Digital Solutions Enablement - Global Digital Services team serves all of Pfizer Business lines needs for internal team collaboration sites and external Digital engagement channels. As such the User Experience Services Lead will have global responsibility ensuring the team's design principles are met for all of our services. Through a variety of creative problem-solving skills, they will advocate best in class standards while ensuring the team's services and their operations are efficient and adaptable to scale.

This role takes the lead on design & creation of the UX services, managing the service execution and proactively managing delivery and any associated risks that might arise from shifting priorities. They will play a key role in shaping, adoption and implementation of our global UX standards and practices on all digital services projects as well as the UX service strategy, and identify new opportunities for advancing evolving UX standards, practices and concepts. Along with keeping the team on track to meet strategic initiatives, they will demonstrate their passion for UX by contributing and advocating for best in class standards for our digital solutions.

The lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, in help defining and evolving UX standards and approaches that touch our customer's journey. They will play a key role in executing our Global User Experience strategy across all Digital Services delivery.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Services User Experience Services Lead ensures that all of the UX Services are meeting their value proposition to customers. In addition to expert Service management skills, this role requires a passion for design and dedication to practices that put users at the center of solutions.

This role requires a variety of skills throughout a project from testing early concepts to ensuring the design of beautiful interfaces for a wide range of business challenges. The UX Services Lead will also be responsible for ensuring that solutions are tailored for individual user goals and business requirements.

Major Responsibilities include:

* Lead service management and delivery through effective management and oversight of UX services delivery teams, collaborating with leads in delivering the highest level of engagement through all project interactions.
* Collaborate with Digital Services leads and SCOs on key project decision-making, including: requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and approval processes
* Setting and managing cross-functional stake holder expectations through every stage of the UX process, ensuring that value propositions are being met. Provide direction and training to colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders on Digital Services projects around UX process and Pfizer's Helix design system.
* Consulting with creative agencies to ensure design standards are being met, using constructive actionable feedback.
* Management of contracted designers to execute UI design and production efforts through the solution lifecycle.
* Direct work of designers, providing critical eye and timely feedback to ensure consistency and quality of design deliverables.
* Ability to create and refine user-experience related deliverables, including task and gap analyses, site maps, wireframes, flow diagrams, and user-requirements documents.
* Ability to use low-fidelity prototyping techniques to communicate design concepts to business stakeholders and UI design teams.
* Identify team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, and resource management; identifying opportunities to optimize.
* Ensures that activities that connect solution UX design to production are understood and planned for.
* Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision making to drive initiatives forward.
* Tracks quarterly budget and allocation ensuring that resources are being used efficiently, meeting our value proposition to customers with regards to time and cost.
* Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders to present capabilities and facilitate conversations that yield opportunities for User Experience projects. This includes partnering with agencies, BPs, etc.
* Identify opportunities to showcase User experience capabilities and services to the larger Pfizer audience.
* Provide subject matter expertise from Pfizer Digital during meetings with customers and business partners on Services projects.
* Be a key influencer of solution design within our cross-functional Digital Services delivery teams of innovators, analysts, designers, architects and engineers.
* Agency and technical build vendor training on UX, accessibility standards

QUALIFICATIONS

* BS in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Human Computer Interaction, or related disciplines
* 7+ years of relevant experience required
* Experience with system & interface design, user research, and innovation processes and experience working with design, research, and engineering professionals.
* Proven record of excellent client partnerships
* Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for user centered design principles.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to successfully communicate design rationale to a mixed audience.
* Flexibility to work on a wide range of projects: from small content based mobile apps to more complex mobile web applications with transactional components and data integration.
* Proficiency with standard software tools for development of wireframes, high fidelity prototype and graphics production.
* Strong understanding of HTML and web services. Also, an understanding of information architecture, and design patterns.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

* Technology solutions delivery in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment with demonstrated capabilities managing large scale, enterprise software requirements definition, designs and implementations in a global 24 by 7 environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
* Ability to lead in a complex, matrix environment with indirect resources geographically distributed.

Demonstrated progressive experience successfully managing software development projects. Must have demonstrated expertise in:

* Experience with Sketch, Prototyping tools, Pre-production software, HTML5 based animations and interactions
* Knowledge of Responsive web, iOS, Material design, and Hybrid standards
* Ability to conduct user research and testing with a variety of techniques
* Ability to execute an appropriate assessment of technology in the competitive landscape
* Ability to work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner
* Ability to think critically; to recognize and anticipate a problem (technical, operational, process, organizational) and to identify and implement or communicate the best solution in a timely manner.
* Coordination with other BT staff to leverage shared services.
* Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with internal technical staff, BT Management and vendors.
* Generation of appropriate documentation: project plans, requirements documents, use cases, storyboards
* Demonstrated effective organization and time management
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results under aggressive schedules
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
* Ability to function in a dynamic work environment

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

* Coordination with other BT staff to leverage shared services.
* Strong analytical and writing skills paired with a background in application development, application or systems management.
* Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with internal technical staff, D&T Management and vendors.
* Able to balance multiple project initiatives
* Generation of appropriate documentation: project plans, requirements and design documents, use cases, storyboards
* Demonstrated effective organization and time management
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results under aggressive schedules
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
* Ability to function in a dynamic work environment

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

* Travel will be required as part of this role. Expectations around travel will vary but candidates must be capable of travel within the region, to other regions, and to Pfizer World Headquarters.
* Pfizer Digital is a 7x24x365 endeavor. This role may require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours
