What you'll do
* Providing our Trading (Wholesale) customers with lightning-fast response and resolution times, combined with great communication, so they are delighted with the Nexmo service.
* Capturing knowledge, for customers who prefer solving their own issues without having to contact Support.
* Getting stuff done for the customer, doing whatever it takes to ensure their success.
* Collaboration with our Trading Sales team to efficiently address large opportunities.
What you'll bring
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
* 2+ years as a Technical Support Engineer in either the telecommunications or technology sectors
Successful candidates are likely to be experienced in technical support, ideally in telecommunications or technology sectors, with technologies such as:
* Messaging: e.g. SMS, SMPP, GSM
* Voice: e.g. SIP, VoiceXML, WebRTC, Asterisk
* Networking: e.g. TCP/IP
* OS: e.g. Linux, system administration
* APIs and SDKs
Nexmo Trading Support Engineers possess excellent communication skills, both talking and writing with our customers and internal stakeholders. They are also fascinated with problem solving, being able to identify potential problems and their most appropriate solution. Our Support engineers have a natural curiosity and can demonstrate the ability to learn rapidly.
