CGI is seeking a Test Scrum Master who will be responsible for leading the testing effort for a large system upgrade that is critical to the management of the electric grid. The Scrum Master will coordinate with the Program Manager to create and manage the testing strategy in alignment with the Scaled Agile (SAFe) approach that is being utilized to incrementally deliver the vendor system upgrade. The Scrum Master will manage the Test Coordinators and test execution team and will drive test execution in alignment with program schedule.

In addition to the responsibilities below, the Scrum Master will assess the program's feasibility to automate a portion of the system testing efforts of the large COTS implementation. The SM will be given the opportunity to define a program test automation plan based on the feasibility assessment results, and potentially to disseminate that automation strategy across the wider organization.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead a test automation feasibility assessment, including an assessment survey, cost benefit analysis, tools assessment, and recommendations report.

~Develop test strategy including task schedules and resource assignments.

~Manage the test stream of the project. Develop a work breakdown structure and resource plan to be incorporated into the master program plan.

~Assist managing test resources' work assignments and deliverables.

~Accomplish vendor coordination during the test cycle. Ensure coordination between vendor and client for core product defect fixes and product configuration defect fixes.

~Review project requirements and define the test strategy.

~Manage the creation and updating of test cases.

~Ensure that testers evaluate discrepancies between expected results and actual results of test execution.

~Provide test execution status reporting, including dashboard reporting and trend analysis.

~Collaborate with test leads to help develop and improve existing test methodology and processes.

~Reports to program manager.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

~Demonstrated experience managing a complex testing effort.

~Minimum 5 years of Test Lead experience, with participation on projects with a $5M project budget or greater.

Experience working in SAFe or Agile environments

~Experience in coordinating testing in large multi-platform environments involving complex integrations and geographically dispersed teams.

~Experience developing structured test plans and detailed test cases through analysis of complex business and technical requirements and high level design deliverables.

~Ability to prioritize testing based on risk.

~Experience in QA Process Development

~Experience mentoring others in QA best practices.

~Experience with Structured Test Planning, QA Tracking software - Rational experience preferred.

~Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) is preferred, as well as experience working in a utility or energy company.

~Experience in training development and administration a plus.

~Minimal travel is required.
