Job Description

Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Test Directorate (ABT). Provide analyst, operational, financial and test support during the planning, assessment, and execution of Flight and Ground Tests for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Test Program.

Responsibilities:

* Provide analyst, financial, administrative, and operational support requiring knowledge of weapons system testing
* Support AB Leadership at Flight and Ground Test Executive Level meetings
* Participate in BMDS Test Event planning conferences and working groups
* Travel to MDA and Aegis BMD locations etc as required

Requirements

* Familiarity with BMDS testing desired
* Test Requirements, Test Planning and Design
* Scenario / Test Case Design
* System Integration / System Test
* Financial experience desired (Statement of works, financial accounting with government field activities, POM budgeting)
* Familiarity with the MDA and Aegis BMD organizational roles and responsibilities desired
* 7+ years experience desired; U.S. Navy background a plus
* Experience working with DOD and the Navy a plus
* Demonstrated ability to work independently from high-level guidance
* Must be pro-active, self-motivated, not afraid to ask questions and provide Aegis BMD Program Office position to a wide technical and managerial audience, and be willing take on projects not necessarily in candidates current skill set
* Can easily apply working knowledge of MS Office applications to financial and system engineering tasks and produce timely and effective results
* Proof of US citizenship is required

Education

* Bachelor's Degree Required (Math, Engineering, or Science degree a plus)

Clearance

* Secret clearance required; Top Secret Preferred
