* Leads and supports the design, development, testing, and operation of telecommunications systems and equipment
* Leads and performs the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of telecommunications systems and equipment
* Leads and supports requirements definition and analysis of telecommunications systems including transmission capacity planning
* Provides and supports systems integration of telecommunications systems
* Leads and provides systems administration and network support
* Leads the testing and repairs of telecommunications systems and equipment
* Troubleshoots telecommunications systems and equipment
* Anticipates, diagnoses, isolates, and resolves telecommunications systems and equipment problems
* Monitors and assesses telecommunications systems and equipment for security vulnerabilities and threats
* Supervises the maintenance and tracking of an accurate database of telecommunications systems and equipment
* Supervises the verification and validation of conformance to industry and government standards for telecommunications systems and equipment
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline
Qualifications
* 6 - 8 years of directly related experience supporting the design, development, testing, operations and maintenance of telecommunications systems and equipment
* Significant knowledge and experience installing, configuring, operating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining telecommunications systems and equipment
* Significant knowledge and experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving telecommunications systems and equipment problems
