This position provides ATM communications technical support to Cardtronics service vendors and Customer Care by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Maintain all site communications at 98% uptime commitment. * Provide installation and ongoing support of multi-vendor communication devices and platforms including IP: CDMA, Frame Relay, VSAT; X.25: VSAT, DSL/Broadband * Design and maintain LAN environments. * Order equipment for operations repository and deployments, and request and follow up on site service installations and disconnects. * Perform proper asset management and RMA process management. * Identify site issues and provide proper resolution. * Audit communications invoices. * Perform communication equipment certification with ATM engineering and EFT operations. * Serves as a liason to network engineering and operations in identifying problems and troubleshooting connectivity problems * Provide hardware and software support for various Ventus, OptConnect, and JBM routers.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelors degree required. * 5+ years of experience in CDMA communication preferred * Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. * Strong customer relations and process resolution skills. * Able to work well alone or as a part of a team. * Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn new technologies. * Excellent phone etiquette skills. * Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively handle concurrently running multiple priorities. * Knowledge of the OSI model. * Knowledge of Microsoft Visio. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
