What you'll be doing

As a full degree IT Consultant apprentice you will work within the Privileged Access Management team, in the Digital Workplace Unit in BT Technology. You will join a security team which is responsible for managing access to BT's most secure systems and platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring the right people get the right access to the right information and for the right reasons. You will help build and maintain the security systems and processes that protect BT from cyber threats and allow BT to manage its systems (in its own data centres or in the cloud) and the information it holds with the upmost care and responsibility.

You will work with your colleagues in a variety of IT Systems and Software installation and configuration tasks which will require MS Windows Server skills as well as Scripting/Programming. You will be responsible along with your colleagues for the management and maintenance of a key BT Security platform, ensuring we offer brilliant services to our internal and external customers.

Full degree apprenticeship - You'll need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) three A-Levels with a minimum of BCC grades, including a STEM subject or equivalent. You'll also need a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4 - 9 (C or above) including English Language and Maths.

Equivalent qualifications are accepted.
